Preparing for Jumua’h

Dear MACE community members,
Assalam alaikuum,
By now you are probably flooded with messages from the Governor, employer, school, library, etc. all about COVID-19; the precautions to take etc.  This email is not to increase your anxiety, but rather to renew our faith in Allah and also do our due diligence to keep our community safe.

I would like to share a quote from Shaikh Abdur Rahman as Sudais:
“The chance of your death through COVID-19 is at a percentage of 1%, but the chance of you dying anytime by Allah’s will is 100%.  So renew your faith in Allah, for whoever places his Trust in Allah, He is enough for him.”

Allah says in the holy Quran “Nothing shall ever happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us. He is our Maula (Lord, Helper and Protector). And in Allah let the believers put their trust.” – Surah At-Tawbah (9:51)

MACE is cleaning the mosque regularly.  It only took one individual in New York to affect more than a hundred.  So if you feel sick or someone in your house feels sick, or if you are coming from an infected region kindly stay at home.  If you are having problems breathing or elevated fever, call your physician right away.  May Allah accept all our prayers, be it in congregation or in solitude.

Meanwhile, I am attaching a couple of documents with this email to prepare for Jumuah during the month of March and also COVID-19 safety plan.  Inshallah this calamity will pass by quickly, and we will be able to welcome Ramadan with a healthy body, mind and soul.

Regards,
MACE Admin
