Eid Al Adha Prayers

Assalaamu Alaykum Dear MACE Community,

As communicated on Thursday of last week, Eid Al-Adha will be celebrated on Sunday, June 16, 2024, inshallah.  EID MUBARAK to All.

Below are the event’s logistical details:

• Takbeerat will start at 8:30 am.  We will not be distributing paper copies.  Electronic PDF versions will be sent via email and WhatsApp community pages. Also attached here: Eid Takbeerat
• Salat al-Eid will start at 9:00 am (we will only have one salah).
• Parking spots in front of the Masjid entrance will be reserved, as in previous Eids, for handicapped spots ONLY.
• Other parking spots will be filled and closed once capacity is full. NO DOUBLE PARKING.
• Once the parking is full, you can drop off your family entering through the further parking entrance from the masjid and exiting through the parking entrance close to the masjid and go park at the reserved UH Hospital parking at:
  • 27110 Chardon Rd, Richmond Heights, OH 44143
• You can be picked up with a shuttle to drop you off at the Masjid. This is also a 7-minute walk to MACE in case you prefer not to wait for the shuttle.
• Shuttle will be operating starting at 8:15 am and continue until 11:15 am.
• The usual refreshments and beverages will be available after salah.

With this being a Sunday, we are expecting a large number of people to attend. We will set up a tarp outside of the masjid where we will have speakers so you can hear the Khutbah, inshaAllah. Please BRING YOUR PRAYER RUG in case you end up praying on the tarp. No one will be allowed to pray at the Masjid entrance for safety reasons.
